Autodesk® A360 is an easy-to-use service that allows design and project teams to work and communicate efficiently in a central cloud-based workspace. With A360, all members of your team can be involved in the project, whether or not they have access to the actual design programs or the skills required to use them. The versatile tools of A360 offer ease of communication throughout the team. These include a shared calendar and wiki. An added benefit is that A360 can be used via a Web browser and on mobile devices – the Autodesk A360 app is available for both iOS and Android).
In addition to the free A360 service, A360 Team, with a wider range of features, is available for a fee.
The Autodesk A360 service supports more than a hundred file formats. In addition to Autodesk and third-party design file formats, data such as documents, images, and videos can be imported to the A360 service (a list of the file formats supported can be found at). The data can be viewed quickly and realistically in 2D and 3D views. All data added to the service are indexed, making it quick and easy to locate the required information and components even from the most complex plans and models.
In addition to the free A360 service, A360 Team, with a wider range of features, is available for a fee. The A360 product family also includes a free-use version of A360 Drive, a successor to the Autodesk® 360 service, which lets you share and store files. Autodesk’s subscription customers receive 25 gigabytes of storage space in the A360 Drive service instead of the usual five free gigabytes.
With the A360 service, you get a Web location called a hub where you can create projects. The free version of A360 enables the creation of a single project, while A360 Team offers the opportunity to work on an unlimited quantity of projects. If you choose not to buy the A360 Team service after a 30-day trial period, you can continue to use the free version of A360.
